Purple Kisses || Products I Must Have: Va Va Violet, Rimmel KM 04, Kat Von D Homegirl

This fall, I'm planning to experiment with Lip Color alot more.
I Love Dark Features, and Purple Lips are a good way to have a splash of color on a neutral face.

Below you'll find 3 products that I keep in my arsenol: Revlon's VaVa Violet, Rimmel London's Kate Moss 04, and Kat Von D's Homegirl.

Rimmel London's Lasting Finish by Kate Moss- Color 04 is a creme based Lipstick; VERY lightweight and out of these 3 products my top pick. I pair this with MAC Cork Lip Pencil  and go!. It's not a matte lip color  but also not a very shiny one either- which is exactly the look I'm going for. 

This retails between 5-6 bucks depending on where you shop (walgreens, target, walmart, cvs).

Revlon Super Lustruous Lipstick Va Va Violet  isn't listed as a matte Lipcolor but it's that way on my lips. On my list simply because I love the color, this lipstick should definitely be paired with a chap-stick or other kind of moisturizing coat before applying the actual color. it's very RICH, hence the name Super Lustrous; Stays on well but of course with lots of sipping, eating etc. it will come off.

Infused with mega-moisturizers to seal in color and softness.

Kat Von D's Painted Love Lipgloss Homegirl doesn't appear to be online with Sephora so I'm assuming it's discontinued; and it may be for good reason. I got this from Sephora and it retails about $19. For that price you'd expect perfection; but it's not meeting that mark.

Homegirl is VERY BERRY, almost BLACK on my lips and I Love Love Love the color- more than Va Va Violet, however alone this stuff is DRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. So dry it's hard to blot. I hear the Lipstick is the same way so if you do pick this up, be sure to keep a clear lipgloss around. 

Out of these 3, I definitely recommend Rimmel London's Kate Moss 04, it's light on the lips, budget, and looks great!.
