or lost yourself, living for somebody else or what they wanted for you?

I know I have, so this line from the song details that.

I wasted so much of my life living for a person that wasn't mine to begin with.

I wasted so much of my life worrying about what other's think of me. 

What they wanted for me.

The life they wanted me to live.

I wasn't satisfied.

At the end of the day 

I now know who I live for and whose opinion matters in my life.

God's and My Own.

They are reflections of each other and I'm spending the rest of my days living what he's promised and doing me.
