I'm super late with this posting, but I'm finally able to share with you guys the latest products I've tried from Sally's

I started shopping at Sally's religiously back in 2008, I was going through so much and unfortunately was changing my hair and it's color like I changed my clothes. I'm a proud Beauty Club Member and get all the advertisement's sent via email and regular mail- so I believe while I enjoy the savings it really became a vice and enabler during my "distress".

Since then, I've calmed down greatly. One of my obstacles faced over the summer was FRIZZ. This is the first summer in awhile that I've chosen to forgo Half sewin's and half-wigs for my natural hair; and I've been fighting to find products that will not only keep my hair in tip top condition but also keep it shiny, frizz-free, and not heavy.

I think I've found it!

In August, Sally's introduced Kera Minerals,

Specially formulated with Seriseal Complex that combines Sericin Silk Protein with hair keratin to produce effective results in reducing frizz and volume, while adding shine and conditioning properties to the hair.

Restore lost keratin that can cause hair breakage, dryness, dullness and frizz. Gentle enough for daily use. Helps strengthen, smooth and replenish keratin to hair.

Safe for natural or chemically-treated or color treated hair. With continual use, it will improve and prolong the look of your smoothing treatment system.

Staring with the Shampoo, I LOVED the way it slickened my hair. I was working with a 2 week fresh perm but normal shampoo's (Motions Lavish Shampoo, Infusism 23)DON'T leave my hair this slick. I washed twice but on recently washed hair I recommend once.

The Deep Conditioner was very easily manipulative, unlike some other Deep Conditioner's that are extra thick and heavy. This is very light and a little goes along way. My only grip is that the jar is very small; so for someone with long, thick hair like myself- you'll get a good 3 1/2 uses out of this.

Lastly, was the leave-in. Again, I wish the bottle was bigger. This, like the deep conditioner goes a long way if you rub it through your hair and comb-thru with a wide tooth comb.

Here's the result's of my roots.
I flipped this pic upright but of course blogger wants it their way
-_-
Top is before blow dry.
Bottom is after.
Unfor I had things to do and didn't think to take pics after flat ironing but the results were great!. While my hair lasted all week in 80-90 degree temps, I can only imagine it lasting much much longer had I utilized the Silk Elements Kera-Minerals Smoothing System. (Not sure if it's to use on relaxed hair).

Hopefully this review encourages you guys to try out the Kera Minerals line.
