R&B Diva's Season I Episode 1: Sisters In Song Review

Sooo, I finally had the opportunity to sit down and watch R&B Diva's this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Here's my review of the 1st episode: Sisters in Song.

First Off, Each ladies HAIR was devinely done.

Faith of course w/ her ombre made me so proud. I've always loved her with the Platinum Blonde Hair but the ombre works for her as well.I've been following Faith since 95' when she first appeared on the scene and knew that without a doubt anything that she was involved in would be great and this first episode did not disappointment me. I had no idea she was living in ATL, it seems everybody lives there. I like the fact that right off the back you can see just how "seasoned" she is and how professional she is as a performer, vocalist, and leader. I Love Faith! Ya'll know.

Keke reminds me alot of myself, with her outright total distrust issues of men; I remember her and her music and her beauty, So I'm glad she's apart of something new, positive, and uplifting. I like her husband, but their relationship is one of concern. However, as a woman I can understand it.

Syleena is the Outspoken one of the group. Talented as hell. I know that this opportunity will serve her well. I have some of her CD's and love her voice/sound. Image Source: tvone.com

Nicci is another outspoken one, as I said before if you've follow her on twitter you know exactly her thoughts and views on reality shows and I KNEW that this one wouldn't be like the others. Image Source:  madamenoire.com

Monifah I didn't realize she was who she was. I had heard her song back in the day but really didn't get into her too much. The revelation that she's a lesbian doesn't surprise me these days, I just wonder how women whom has a child suddenly finds that a woman is what they need. Image source: TVOne

All in All, I'm really feeling this show. I like it's message and the hope that it gives aspiring R&B Diva's out there in the world.
