Honesty Hour: A Perfume Called Desperation

No lie, this is an actual perfume Desesperado

I've been thinking about this Honesty Hour for a few days now and finally got my thoughts together enough that I'm ready to share this with you all.

I've been in a season in my life where I'm losing more than gaining people in life and feel like I'm missing out on experiences in my youth that I'll regret not having when I'm older. 

It's an unstable time and I feel like I'm Frantically and Anxiously attempting to latch onto other people, put myself in situations, and make a fool out of myself. All in Desperation.    

It's something I've watched happen to others for years and now it's happening to me and I'm floored.

Because I've been impatient I've done somethings in my life that I'm not proud of. I haven't Let God Be God, as they say and It's again, All in Desperation.

Holding onto friends.

Chasing after a Guy.

Contemplating quitting a job.

Rushing to buy a certain item.

All in Desperation

Hopefully, someone out there can relate. 

These desperate acts have tired me out, lead me down the wrong path and today I'm making a point to wake up every single day and NOT put on the perfume called "Desperation". It stinks, stays with you all day, and keeps away the right people and situations from being attracted and coming to you.

Some Advice:

• The People whom aren't good for you and your life.....Leave them behind but pray for them and continue to love them from afar.

• The situations that cause you more harm than good.....get out of them, they are hindering your progress.

• Allow God and his timing to work in your life....His hand on your life is there even in the darkest of hours. When you feel he's not there, know that he is...always.

• & Lastly, don't harbor resentment or anger towards decisions you've made in the past as a result of desperation. Learn from the mistakes and take them as lessons, not failures and commit to changing your life and NOT wearing the scent of desperation anymore.'

Hopefully this encourages you if your going thru the same thing.
