Sunday Message: "Wake Up Baby"

This Sunday message will be short and sweet.

An issue near and dear to my heart has finally reached a point of coming to a close. For a while, I lived thinking my life was going to go a certain way, not knowing that it had already been written and thing’s aren’t always exactly going to go according to our plans. Once I figured this out, I still struggled with a few situations in my life. You ever wanted someone or something so bad but circumstances surrounding that person or that thing just didn’t fit into God’s plan for you? Well, that’s what’s happened to me.

Since this time, in 2009 I’ve been putting love, effort, concern, and time into a situation that was unwinnable. I don’t regret giving my all, because had I not, I wouldn’t have learned the valuable lesson; which is this Sunday’s message: WAKE UP BABY!

God brings to pass what is absolutely necessary in our lives and what goes according to his plan, sitting there- in our own human error trying to “make something happen” that’s not necessarily our destiny is wasting time, energy, and even more so I believe displeasing to God. That doesn’t go to say it may not EVER happen, but as my mentor told me…When your put your trust in god you also put your trust in him and his timing.

Everything has a place, Everything has a time. Putting your energy in something that isn’t working or is proven (through prayer) to not be what’s needed in your life deserves a wake up call!

Wake up ya’ll….Life is too short.
