Special Announcement: My First Novel "Always Comes Back To You" Release Date

 Hello and Happy March Readers!

As you may previously be aware I was slated to be included in the upcoming release of “Drink Fu*k Sleep: An Anthology” under Steffan’s Publishing. Unfortunately due to certain circumstances I resigned by my own will officially from the project.  

If you know me, you already know this was not for nothing and I have something else planned.

                 After that experience I realized that as an artist, I’d much rather utilize the independent option rather than tag along to someone else’s name. I also, cannot and will not be put into the box of a “size fits all” market that somebody else is attempting to appeal to (NO shade, just truth); I have my own lane, I’m comfortable in it and I do not wish to change my style, my genre, or premise.

Some may say that’s career suicide but if I based my existence off of what other’s preferred I’d wouldn’t be living my life now would I?

I’m from the hood, I write about the hood.

 I can’t be a universal writer…I just don’t want that, not for me. I believe that if a message is written from the heart (which all my work is) it will touch everybody who reads it, doesn’t matter if I write like I have a 6th grade education and live in the poorest part of the city or if I write like I graduated from an ivy league college…period.

Knowing that, I’ve started re-writing my story, telling it how it should be told, and going through the edit process. 

My dream has been since a child to become an author and I’m here to tell you that I’m one step closer to making that dream come true.

Wednesday June 20^th 2012 marks the first day of summer and is also the official release date of “Always Comes Back to You" via Amazon for Kindle. At this time I do not have plans for physical distribution, this is a short story and my introduction into the literary world as we know it so I think it’s best to release it this way.

I also want to state that this will be FREE!

This release will offer you guys insight to how I write and how I feel that a story just ain’t a story without a lesson to be learned.

I’ll be promoting via facebook and twitter as the date draws closer, April 1^st I will also release a short except from the book for reading/feedback.
