That’s the END?? *In My Janet Jackson
Voice*
My final reactions and overall
opinion are below:
1. Somaya was missed
on quite a few of the episodes this season, apparently she was a very busy
young woman. Signing new management, going in a new direction and brought out a
new mixtape Blurr The Lines. The brief time
we did see her, she was STILL on her grind, still getting her career together and
still getting respect from me for her hustle. I hope everything works out for
her and hope to hear exciting news come reunion time.
2. Yandy -_-
poor girl. Next to Kimbella, Yandy was possibly one of the most talked about
ladies on the show this season. I was riding with her until she had a moment
and did the “Bird” shit of interfering w/ Jim and Chrissy’s personal affairs. As
a manager, a certain level of professionalism should be kept at all times…reality
show or not. One of my associates tried to claim that maybe it was for TV, ok…and
that makes it ok? If you’re really about your “checks” and all about money, you
should’ve been smart enough to NOT
mess up the $ in the beginning or send that shady ass email. In any event I thoroughly
appreciate the advice given to her by Mona. Rebound from this, recognize your
place, and keep emotions from your job. PERIOD. I won’t even get into her “Kimbella
meet Emily, Emily meet Kimbella” “Kimbella meet Erica, Erica meet Kimbella” drama….word
of advice: stay bringing people together.
3. Kimbella DID
NOT present herself well on the 1st episode; I’m sticking to that statement. After
having seen her more and her plight w/ juelz it’s clear that she fits the Love
& Hip Hop Description. Her story really pulled at my heart strings and I love
that she was so strong towards the end, not being stuck mentally with thoughts
of trying to stay with juelz even when it appears he’s not all together.
Congrads on the Preggo announcement too, Momma’s reaction was CLASSIC!. At the
end of the day *in her voice* I hope she’s very successful and does the right
thing for her and her babies.
4. Olivia one
of the most hated on from the show, smh. Liv is always good in my book; she may
have unresolved issues with Somaya that has caused people to be very cynical
towards her. Anytime someone generally doesn’t like someone for whatever reason
(it’s your right, you DON’T have to like somebody) your considered a hater;
this is only depicted on the show keep in mind, and these two ladies may have
issues not reflected here. It seems like she’s finally getting where she needs
to be and I hope she’s on the right path, with the right people. She’s fallen
in love recently, and her Boo Tarence
Kinsey seems to be as well.
5. Emily I
STILL feel for her wholeheartedly. She appears to be getting stronger but isn’t
where she needs to be yet and that is OK. She took a great big giant step in
the right direction but leaving a situation that appeared winless. When your
back is up against the wall and respect is not being given, it’s time to walk
away. I learned that lesson the hard way, but the hard way makes it stick. Life
and love are to be enjoyed and Emily being independent and moving out on her
own is putting that into action. I’m super happy for her and hope that she
continues to thrive at everything she does.

6. Last but most certainly not
least,
Chrissy. Three words: I LOVE CHRISSY! Home girl did
her thing this series and I’m not mad at all. Say what you want (and
THEY
are saying a lot) but Chrissy don’t play, she don’t sugarcoat anything and how
vital is that in the industry? VERY. Jimmy knows what he has, and regardless of
who asked who to marry them, something tells me when they do get married- it’ll
be for life. You can’t find loyalty these days, people will swear they love you
one min but as soon as the opportunity arises and it looks good, they defecating
on your name. true genuine unwavering friends are even more limited, so for
Emily to be as close to Emily as she is, is great.
FINAL THOUGHT:
Erica did not get a mention
because I felt she was placed there to be a distraction, maybe even a shit starter.
Who knows? Looking back my opinion of these ladies only changed for some, only
because their actions changed. I’m ready for the finale and hope that next
season shows better and brighter days for these ladies.

I was satisfied with the outcome of Love and Hip Hop season finale. I was trying to stay up on the drama in between school and working at DISH, it was hectic but with TV everywhere I was able to stay connected. I am happy for Chrissy and it sucks for Kimbella. I can always watch the shows or any of my shows on-the-go. I can't wait for the next season.
ReplyDeletewhile i don't care for the heavy editing on the show, they cannot display what you didn't do...i digress. It's hopefully a learning experience for these lovely ladies. i too, cannot wait until next season.
