Music Spotlight: Ayah

So, One day I'm watching VH1 Soul and a video comes on featuring this lovely lady "Ayah" it's for a song entitled "Forgive Me Love", I instantly fell in love with her voice. She sings from a strong place and you can tell she's fresh and new but in a good way. I had never heard of this young woman but I was drawn to her and quickly googled her name and found her YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook Page.

Ayah is VERY talented, I've had the oppertunity to listen to all her previous cd's and can't even begin to go on about how I can relate to so many of her songs. Ayah is definitely a breath of fresh air for the music industry, and with her teaming up with legends like DJ Jazzy Jeff, I'm sure you'll be seeing more of her.

A multitalented & self-taught singer / songwriter / composer who possesses a voice so very enchanting in its purity, Ayah has experienced a fairly nomadic life & found her growing world indelibly touched by a vast array of musical genres, cultures and social climates. These elements would inevitably play an influential role in her writing.

Ayah, 25, creates her own unique brand of music, an eclectic infusion of classic Soul/Rock, R&B and hip hop; the musical prowess of contemporary RnB artists, Soul stirrers, & timeless legends.

Ayah has garnered a grass roots fan base with the release of her last two projects, “Problem Woman” & “4:15.”
