An Oppertunity to GIVE BACK.....

I obtain a sense of undesirable joy inside of me when I GIVE, even in my darkest days when my spirit was down & low I KNOW God has always blessed me and my family. I've been homeless, I've went times not knowing where my next meal would come from; but one things for certain God's always been right there providing for me and my family in some way, shape, or form. Because of his goodness to me, I know it's my job to spread that goodness to others; when I pass by the homeless I give knowing that even if their intentions aren't good, mine are. When it's time for CFC (Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area) I don't hold back and give a % of my annual salary to charities I've worked with and causes I've experienced. I give to those because God has given to me, and when you've been blessed, as Ms. Patti says "Pass it On"!.

Which brings me to Today, FOOD 2 FEED day in the DC Area.   Join them in the annual food drive by donating non-perishable food items or monetary donations in the form of cash, check, or major credit card.

Bring your non-perishable food or make a donation with cash, check, or major credit card.

Call the Food2Feed phone bank @ 202-216-9142 on November 17th and our SunTrust operator will take your credit card donation over the phone.

Proceeds:

100% of the monetary proceeds collected will be used to purchase $50 Giant Gift Cards. The cards will be given to the Capitol Area Food Bank which will distribute them to designated needy families. All non-perishable food collected will be donated to the Capitol Area Food Bank.
